# AI Analytics

AI Analytics is the main view of your brand's visibility across monitored prompts and AI engines.

## What to look for

Start with three questions:

1. How often does the brand appear?
2. Is visibility improving or declining?
3. Which competitors, prompts, or engines explain the change?

The overview combines visibility, mentions, citations, competitive position, and sentiment. Use the date and engine filters to compare like with like.

## Compare competitors

Competitor views show which brands appear alongside or instead of yours. A competitor can lead overall while being weak for a specific topic, stage, or engine, so move from the aggregate view into the underlying prompts before choosing an action.

## Investigate a change

When a metric moves:

1. Keep the same date range and change one filter at a time.
2. Identify the engine or prompt group responsible for the movement.
3. Open the relevant prompt results.
4. Read the response evidence and citations.
5. Check **Sources** and **Brand Mentions** for the wider pattern.

## Use a stable baseline

New prompts and workspace changes can alter the monitored set. Record the date of material changes and compare periods with similar coverage whenever possible.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.usereach.ai/understand-your-visibility/ai-analytics.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
